Judith Craig

Judith Craig CDF-OH Advisory Board

Judith Craig was born in Lexington, Missouri. She attended William Jewell College, Eden Theological Seminary, and Union Theological Seminary. She was honored with an honorary D.D. from Baldwin-Wallace College in 1980.

After serving as a pastor in East Ohio churches, Judith Craig was elected to the episcopacy in 1984. She was assigned to the Michigan Area from 1984-1992, and then moved to the Ohio West Area where she served until her retirement in 2000.

She received an Honorary Doctor of Humane Letters from Adrian College in 1985, a Doctor of Divinity from Otterbein College in 1994, a Doctor of Divinity from Lebanon Valley College in 1994, and a Doctor of Humane Letters from Baldwin Wallace College in 1979.

During her retirement, Bishop Craig has become the Bishop in Residence and Visiting Professor of Leadership at Methodist Theological School of Ohio.
